In the old town, on a private plot in Tilto st. 9, it is planned to reconstruct the buildings, tidy up the surrounding area and equip apartments with underground car storage.
The plot and buildings are owned by Vastint Lithuania UAB. The three buildings in the area will be reconstructed without changing their height. One building has 4 floors with an attic, the other two have one floor with an attic. In the unbuilt part of the plot from the Bridge Street, the existing buildings will be reconstructed and a continuous (perimeter) one-story building will be formed.
14 apartments, commercial premises, and one non-residential premises are planned to be installed in the reconstructed buildings. The total planned area of residential premises is ~1560 m², commercial premises ~180 m².
The reconstructed buildings form an irregularly shaped courtyard. Entrances to the living quarters are planned from the inner courtyard. A pedestrian path, children's playground, sports and quiet recreation areas, greenery, lighting and fencing of the territory are being designed in the yard. The yard is installed on the roof and soil of the underground car storage. New plants are planned to be planted in the courtyard. The total area of dependent greenery of the plot is expected to be 30 percent.
There will be 19 parking spaces in the underground car park, as well as space for bicycles.
A construction permit was issued for the project, public information about the planned design of public buildings was held on 2019/08/07, you can familiarize yourself with the project proposals here.
In preparation for the reconstruction, it is planned to remove 7 trees: 3 small-leaved lindens (36, 42, 46 cm in diameter), 2 common maples (26 and 44 cm), common ash (48 cm) and common chestnut (47 cm).
Six plants - to be protected, one - common chestnut - not to be protected. The builder will pay 13,2 thousand for the removed trees. 25 trees of regenerative value will be planted on city land, and 278 sq. m of massifs of bushes.
