Near Vilnius railway station Naujininkai is becoming an increasingly common choice for residents looking for housing or investors who believe in the development of this area. Changes in the capital area are obvious. Formerly industrial, abandoned, industrial territories, when developers see the potential of the area, are transformed into new, modern residential or recreational areas that attract settlers.

"It seems that the unpleasant haze that surrounded Naujininki for many years is starting to recede. The rapidly changing spaces invite you to rediscover this area and attract both single residents and young families to settle here," says "Oak development" development director Tomas Žiaugra.

Ambitious "Vilnius connectthanks to the plan, a recreation and entertainment town, green spaces will be created on Geležinkelis and Pelesas streets. Pedestrian connections between Naujininkai and Naujamiestis are also planned: the first - between St. Steponas and Pelesa streets, the second one - between Algirdas street and Dzūkų street.

The renovated Square of Light, located between Liepkalnis and Pelesas streets, will invite you to spend your free time in nature - here will be renewed pedestrian paths, a playground, a sports field, lighting and cameras will be installed to ensure the safety of the space.

For newcomers, the convenient infrastructure also stands out: right here - Old town consider New town, which are easily accessible on foot, by car and by public transport, as well as the southern bypass, which allows you to avoid traffic jams. Convenient and for frequent travelers - International Vilnius airport right here. With the new Rail Baltica railway, Kaunas will be reachable in 30 minutes, Riga in 2 hours, and Tallinn in 4 hours. Skiing lovers, of course, appreciate that the popular ski cableway complex "Liepkalnis" operates here.

One of the most exclusive places in the district is Kaminkelios Street in the southern part of Naujininkai, dominated by individual houses, hills and huge green areas for recreation. Here, Eika Development, which belongs to the Eika Group, is developing the residential project "Nauji Peizaži" and is gradually turning abandoned territories into residential ones.

"We all see how Vilnius is changing, and we are happy to be not only observers, but also to be a part of those changes ourselves. Some time ago, we witnessed how a new town became the center of attraction and a desirable place to live, as if reborn, now we notice that more and more people are turning their eyes to Naujininki, as if extending it. For too long, this district with great potential was somehow forgotten and neglected - all that was needed was care and investment, and now it is undergoing an incredible transformation before our eyes", observes T. Žiaugra.

According to him, the interest of investors also shows the perspective of the district.

"The first buyers of apartments in our project "New Landscapes" are investors buying investment housing. Comfortable infrastructure, close to the center, the new town is already fully filled, so it is natural that the district is expanding", says T. Žiaugra, development director of Eika Development.
