The invitational architectural competition organized by the "Inreal" group for a multifunctional complex in the new center of Vilnius received 4 works. Unique solutions from 4 architecture studios were presented to the competition commission and the public. Entries are open for review and comments on the website dedicated to the competition.

The object of the competition is a multifunctional high-rise complex with a total area of ​​about 10 square meters in Vilnius, Krakuvos st. 000 and 24. About 26 percent. of the area should be reserved for residential premises, 70 percent. – administrative and commercial. A minimum standard of Breeam Excellent or LEED Gold is sought.

"Our goal is to select a proposal that combines innovative and integral solutions for the urban hill of Vilnius and the context of the new center of the capital. We hope that the professionalism and long-term experience of the invited architects will help to find exceptionally creative and sustainable solutions for this place", says Gediminas Pruskus, head of the Inreal group and chairman of the competition evaluation committee. According to him, the very fact of the competition is not a guarantee of the project's fulfillment, but an attractive architectural vision would become a strong incentive.

February 9 a commission meeting is organized where the winner is expected to be chosen. The public can submit proposals until 2022. February 8 12:00 e-mail by post [email protected].

The competition is organized in accordance with the Provisional Regulations for the Organization of Architectural Competitions of the Council of the Chamber of Architects of Lithuania, approved in 2020. January 22 decision no. The conditions of the T20-01 tender were successfully agreed with the Lithuanian Chamber of Architects. The administrator of the competition is MB "Martyn Maroz architecture and planning" (MMAP).
