The Glass Quarter was decorated with a new installation dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the birth of the famous Vilnius gardener Juozap Strumila (Polish: Józef Strumiłło, December 1774, 14, Kurkliskės, Ukmerges district - July 1847, 18, Vilnius). The gardens created by Joozaps flourished in Vilnius outside the Rūdininkai Gate. In them, he began to grow tulips, bred many different trees and plants, raised bees, and wrote the botanical book "Northern Gardens".

Juozapas Strumyla was persecuted by the Tsarist Russia for his resistance and patriotic activities, and was exiled from Lithuania several times.

This installation "Tulips and Angels" created by the Polish artist and Vilnius friend Jaroslaw Koziara is dedicated to the memory of Juozap Strumila and to celebrate the cultural heritage of his activities.

Continuing the city-river theme in Jonos Mekos Skersvēji In Užupi, open art gallery "ARTerija" has been inhabited by jellyfish. Why jellyfish? Why not? After all, it is Uzhupis.

The author of the installation, Justė Kolevaitytė-Radzevičė, talks about the idea of jellyfish like this: "From water to sky, from sky to water. Two different worlds - one above, the other below, but both are surrounded by mysticism, greatness, myths and the desire to defeat them - to fly in the sky, even though we don't have wings, or dive into the deep ocean, even though we don't have the strength to do so. The Užupis angel from the sky, the Užupis mermaid from the water, and the Winged Jellyfish combine two worlds to create another one - the impossible is possible! He is alive in fantasy, in a dream, and here. As John Mek's draft blows, the water creatures rise into the air, become painted with its colors and become Winged Natives."
