Spring never ceases to amaze with its weather changes. Forecaster Elvyra Latvėnaitė reports that after cool and humid days, Lithuania may experience true spring warmth, with thermometers in some places even rising to 20 degrees Celsius.
"This is a cyclone named Lorenz, which has caused some rain and some surprises with all sorts of weather disasters," says the forecaster. This cyclone is also on Friday will stick to the south of Lithuania, and on Saturday will weaken and retreat even further.

But already since Sunday The weather will start to change. Cyclone Lorenz will merge with a wetter and warmer cyclone system further south, re-strengthen, and turn back toward us. As a result the wind will get stronger again, mainly northern directions.
The good news is that from Monday Warmer air will flow into Lithuania from the east and southeast. The frosts will finally end, and the days will feel more pleasant warmth.
"According to current data, it could cool down again at the end of next week," the forecaster adds cautiously.

"Those on vacation may not be happy, but the rain will definitely make the fields and gardens happy," emphasizes Latvėnaitė.
