Warsaw is one of the most popular travel destinations for Lithuanians - more and more residents of our country choose this city for weekend trips or holidays. From now on, the Polish capital will be even more accessible. The bus company "Lux Express" is increasing the number of trips and from April 28, it runs three times a day between the capitals of Lithuania and Poland.
Lux Express international business manager Rait Remmel says that the number of trips between Vilnius and Warsaw is being increased taking into account the growing passenger flows.
"In March this year, we transported 49 percent between Vilnius and Warsaw. more passengers than in the same period last year. As the number of passengers grows, we want to offer them a greater choice of departure times and encourage existing and new customers to choose comfortable buses for their trips to Warsaw", says Rait Remmel.
From April 28, Lux Express buses depart from Vilnius to Warsaw at 7:10, 14:15 and 22:30, and from Warsaw to Vilnius at 12:00, 20:30 and 23:45. The journey by bus from Vilnius to Warsaw takes about 8 hours. 45 minutes - 8 o'clock 50 minutes, and from Warsaw to Vilnius about 8 hours. - 8 o'clock 30 minutes
In the spring, the number of Lux Express passengers also grew on all Baltic routes. In March of this year, the company transported 67 percent of them. more passengers than a year ago. Lux Express operates 7 daily bus trips between Vilnius and Riga, two direct flights from Tallinn to Vilnius and one direct flight from Vilnius to Tallinn. In addition to direct flights, there are also many opportunities to reach Tallinn from Vilnius with a transfer in Riga.
Many discounts apply to tickets for international Lux Express flights: 26 percent. discount for young people up to 26 years old, 80% discount for children up to 7 years old, 40% discount for children under 16 years and 10% discount for passengers over 60 years old.
