Airline companyWizz Air" announces two new destinations from Lithuania: Bergen, Norway, and the Italian city of Catania. Flight prices for these destinations will start from 29.99 euros. Tickets are now available for purchase on the company's official website and mobile app.
Wizz Air is pleased to offer more choice and flexibility to its Lithuanian passengers for both leisure and business travel. By modernizing its fleet in Lithuania and adding the new Airbus A321neo, the company will offer 215 additional tickets per year and increase its capacity in Vilnius by as much as 35%.
From May 2025, the company will launch direct flights from Vilnius to Bergen (three times a week - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) and to Catania (twice a week - Mondays and Fridays).
Bergen, often called the gateway to the fjords, is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and rich maritime history. Surrounded by seven mountains, the UNESCO-listed Bryggen district and lively fish market offer visitors the chance to explore its historical heritage and sample local delicacies. From hiking up Mount Fløyen to strolling the narrow streets of the Old Town, Bergen is a city that invites both active and relaxed activities.
Meanwhile, Catania, located at the foot of the impressive Etna volcano, captivates with its ornate Baroque heritage and vibrant street culture. Bustling markets, uniquely delicious Sicilian cuisine and impressive natural views create a special atmosphere. From the ancient Roman theater to the memorable Piazza del Duomo - every corner of this city hides a story waiting to be discovered.
