A control tactical exercise for the services will be held on Tuesday in Vilnius, on Drujos Street, on the territory of the former company "Audėjas".
As reported by the Fire Protection and Rescue Department (FPRD), during the exercise "Rescuing People and Performing Other Rescue Operations in Ruins", crews of special services, simulated smoke, and sirens may be seen. Residents are asked to remain calm.
The exercises will take place from noon to 16.30:XNUMX p.m.
According to the PAGD, the purpose of the exercise is to test the readiness of firefighters to carry out search and rescue operations after the collapse of structures, coordinate actions with other services, and ensure effective cooperation with civil protection and municipal institutions.
The department's forces, the Emergency Medical Service, riflemen of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union, dog handlers of the State Border Guard Service, Vilnius County police officers, Lithuanian Red Cross Society and Vilnius city municipalities representatives of the administration.
