At the end of the calendar year, the Lithuanian Cynological Society (LKD) annually invites dog lovers to international dog shows, which have become a beautiful tradition. December 15-17 they will be held at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress CenterLitexpo".
Experienced dog experts from Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Poland and even as far away as Japan will have to evaluate more than 1 dogs every day.
More than 200 different breeds of dogs registered for international exhibitions this time. The biggest competition should be between Golden Retrievers, English Cocker Spaniels, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Pugs, but there will be rings where only one dog of that breed can be seen (Spanish Mastiff, Puli, Pumi, St. Bernard, Welsh Terrier, etc.).
At the end of the three-day exhibition marathon, the Supreme Bis competition will take place. The most beautiful dogs from three exhibitions will compete in this competition: the winners of the young dog competition, the "Best in Show" competitions and the dogs that won the election for the most beautiful dog living in Lithuania. The guest judge for the competition will be Lisbeth Mach, a famous international dog judge from Switzerland.
The three halls of Litexpo will host not only dog expertise, but also others events. An international dog show will be held together with it cat show.
On Saturday, for half a day, visitors will be able to enjoy the competition of dancing with dogs (English Freestyle), in which dancers from our country, Latvia and Estonia will participate.
The LKD Learning Center team will invite families and children to participate in an educational and entertaining program in the 3rd hall: there will be an exhibition of the Republican children's creative competition "My Dream Puppy", gifts for homeless animals will be waiting for "Elf workshop", it will be possible to consult on issues of choosing and raising dogs. The Learning Center has prepared creative tasks and interesting works for the young visitors of the exhibition.
There will be a fair of zoological goods.
