A new residential, commercial and administrative quarter is being developed on the site of the former "Audeja" factory, on Drujos street. The project is implemented by the company "Vilnius miesto projektai" belonging to "Lords LB Special Fund III". About the whole project we wrote in 2023 at the beginning of June. The complex will consist of 8 buildings of various uses: A, B, C1, D1, C2, D2, EF: hotel use, G: administrative use, buildings B and D underground car storage with common service facilities (community center) would be combined into one building.
The complex will consist of two functional units - blocks: Co-living block - ABCDEF buildings/blocks and commercial block - GH building/block. At this stage, the project proposals for the third phase of the block will be discussed: hotel buildings C2, D2 and EF.
Vilnius city municipality approved this project in May.
Co-living area
"In this part of the complex, in different stages, it is planned to build hotel buildings intended for long-term rent (co-living concept). In the C2 and D2 buildings, the same type of apartments are designed for rent as in the C1 and D1 buildings. On the plinth floor of the C2 building, commercial premises are being designed from the side of Manufakturų Street, and a parking lot is being designed in the D2 building, which will be connected to the parking lot of the D1 building.
According to the revised concept, the EF housings are combined into one building due to the necessary functionality. It has 240 rooms of the same type designed for people who travel a lot, active, young people. On the basement floor, common Co-living facilities are designed - reception, shared living space, common kitchens, gym, cinema hall, game room, quiet work room and administrative areas. The plinth floor has access both from the street between Manufakturės and Santarvės streets and from the inner courtyard. In the connecting part of the EF buildings separating the two buildings, multifunctional rooms for common use and rooms for the disabled are designed.
On the underground floor, a catering facility is planned from Manufaktūr Street, the remaining part will have a parking lot and a laundry room," the project proposals say about the future buildings.
