We already wrote earlier that the real estate developer will still have to improve the planned block in the former "Audeja" factory in the territory where offices, shops and residents would be located. Updated design proposals for this complex have been presented to the municipality of the capital.
A shopping center and office buildings should be built in this part of the plot, which will be the closest to the busy Drujas street. The design proposals indicate that a public atrium is planned on the first floor of the administrative building, around which various types of service rental premises are planned. It is planned to build all the buildings in three stages. In the first phase, hotel buildings should be built in the eastern part of the plot, in the second phase - an administrative building, and in the third - the construction of the remaining hotel buildings located in the middle of the plot should be completed.
More intensive landscaping is planned for the building
It is also planned to install an underground parking lot next to the building.
"The main amount of dependent greenery of the complex is designed in the western part of the plot and will be located between Drujas st. and the projected building. In the south-western part of the building, next to/between the paths leading to the entrance to the building, lush representative greenery is being created, which gradually becomes denser and higher when looking from the parking lot towards the building. Starting from the parking lot with lower and medium-height bushes with a few trees, approaching the building, the greenery is formed by planting lush trees, which in the future will cover the open parking lot on the plinth floor. The walls of the plinth floor are planted with climbing plants. Machines parking lots the space is divided by green islands, where pollution-resistant trees are planted with shrubs of a lower height planted in the understory", - the design proposals say about the greening solutions.
Street and bicycle lane greenery are also planned, which will serve as a buffer between the street and the representative greenery of the building planted further away. Shrubs especially resistant to road salt and exhaust gases would be planted in this place: bearberry, dogwood, dogwood.
A solar power plant will be installed on the roof
The design proposals state that the fifth floor will be moved away from the lower facades, thereby visually reducing the height of the building (for the viewer who is closer to the building), and part of the tenants of the fifth floor will have outdoor terraces. This entire roof (above the fourth floor) is planned to be planted with shillock-type plants. It is planned to install a solar power plant on the roof of the main building, which will produce electricity for part of the building's needs.
