McDonald's is continuing its expansion in Lithuania and is planning to add another restaurant to its fast food chain. Currently, there are 10 restaurants of this chain operating in Vilnius. This time, the McDonald's restaurant is planned to be built in the northern part of the city, in Perkūnkiemis.

Vilnius city municipalities The administration issued a building permit for a new McDonald's restaurant in May.
"A new catering facility, a one-story building, is being designed. According to the functional solution of the building, the passage necessary for the needs of the building is built from the passage of the common plot and continues around the building - in this way, the fast transfer of prepared food directly to the cars is ensured.
A dining hall, a food production area with storage and auxiliary facilities, and sanitary areas for employees and visitors are being designed. The visitor space - dining hall is designed on the south side of the building, food preparation and auxiliary rooms are on the northern part of the building," the design proposals say about the functional layout of the building.
